Yomsine Yardnuckle was born on the prison planet of Sateborg where her father and mother was kept as her father had been found hunting the endangered space geromnai. The planet it self was a prison, there was no way of it, no minerals to mine and no technology. Murderers and yalaxy scum did what they could to survive and when Yomsine was six years old she saw her mother beheaded by a gang of Inians. Her father disapered the same night never to be seen again. She had heard stories that they came from the planet of Ydre Halls in the far north of the yalaxy where yonians had settled long ago. That they were warriors, great sailors, children of the northern star and that she, who was born as the third daughter during a tripple moon alignment would have great power. After she lost her parents she was hunted relentlessly by people wanting to eat her or enslave her.
One night she got pulled down from a tree she had been hiding to sleep in and was almost hit by the edge of a sword when she feelt clouds embrasing her. The clouds formed into the shape of a wooden ship and started carrying her over the treetops. It burst through the atmosphere and Yomsine was sure it was the end. It was not. The quiet of space laied like a wet blanket around the quite cloudy ship, now raising a sail and cruising through the stars. After a few years starhoping and working as a courier Yomsine had learned the demeanor of a space hustler. She wore contact lenses that looked like humanoid eyes, painted her face and always carried an axe.
On her twentieth birth day she finally visited her origin planet of Ydre Halls. When she decended to the marketplace in the capital of Halla her cloud ship vanished. She quickly picked up the materials it had carried and droped. It would form again when she would need it. A crowd formed around her as always when she arrived in her ship. But this time was different. These people were not scared or surprised. They had seen this before. An older woman reached for Yomsines cheek and gave it a pinch. Welcome home daughter of Yomslaf! We can see on your ships shields that your anscestors have been taking good care of you on such a beautiful ghost ship! Not many can sail those, you are very special! Yomsine smiled, she would finally know her story and this place truely feelt like home. The lady took her hand and they walked on the cobble stones to the great hall of Halla where Yomsine told the stories of her courier life, her passion for deep space fishing and trying every mead in the yalaxy at least once.
